EDUCATION COMMITTEE REPORT
Education Committee Initiatives
Inspired by the belief that “Education is the chief defense of a nation,” the Education Committee has worked diligently to achieve its goal by organizing various activities.
During the morning assembly, students are given the opportunity to read news headlines, articles of interest, and inspiring thoughts under the guidance of their teachers. This practice not only enhances their reading skills but also helps them overcome stage fear.
To encourage and motivate bright students, special initiatives have been introduced. One such event was the “Best Student Teacher Competition” conducted for Class X students, allowing them to showcase their teaching abilities.
Our school is committed to the holistic development of every child who seeks education here.
The greatest reward for us is seeing our students achieve what others believe to be impossible. Instead of asking, “Why me?” we encourage them to say, “Try me!”
DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE REPORT
Discipline – The Backbone of Character
Discipline plays a vital role in shaping a person’s character. At St. Mary’s, students are encouraged to develop the ability and courage to stand up for what they believe in while maintaining strong values.
Our school places great emphasis on punctuality, cleanliness, good manners, ethics, and proper conduct. These qualities help students grow into responsible and respectful individuals.
To instill leadership and responsibility, the school committee conducted student elections and organized the school parliament for the academic year. Additionally, national celebrations such as Independence Day and Republic Day were marked with patriotic songs, dances, and skits to instill a sense of pride and respect for the nation.
A well-disciplined school environment ensures that everything runs smoothly.

CULTURAL COMMITTEE REPORT
Cultural activities serve as a great motivation for students to showcase their hidden talents beyond academics.
Our school encourages cultural activities to help students express their skills and abilities both inside and outside the school environment.
To nurture their potential, the committee organized various activities such as storytelling, elocution, debate, and extempore competitions, allowing students to demonstrate their creativity and knowledge. Additionally, prayer services were conducted on special occasions to promote spiritual growth and unity.
As the saying goes, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” These activities ensure that students not only learn but also enjoy their time at school, making education a joyful experience.
ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE REPORT
“Nature never did betray the heart that loved her.”
The committee actively participated in various activities throughout the year, creating a healthy and eco-friendly atmosphere in the school.
On July 5th, we celebrated Environment Day by encouraging students to plant trees within the school premises, fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature. On October 2nd, Gandhi Jayanti, students and teachers came together to clean the school surroundings and nearby roads, promoting cleanliness and environmental awareness.
It is the duty of every individual to protect the environment. Through these initiatives, we aimed to instill a love for nature in young minds and inspire them to care for the planet.
“Each child should plant one tree and save nature for the coming generations.”
SPORTS COMMITTEE REPORT
Healthy citizens are the greatest assets of a nation, and the students of today will become the responsible citizens of tomorrow.
Throughout the year, various inter-house and inter-class tournaments were organized, including cricket, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, and carrom. These activities not only encouraged teamwork but also nurtured a competitive spirit among students.
We strive to inspire and train our students to become skilled sports persons in the future. Many of our students made us proud by winning prizes at the district and inter-school levels in chess, carrom, and athletics.
To ensure both the mental and physical well-being of students, regular exercise is included in their P.T. periods.
Our school aims not only to be an island of excellence but also to be a river of peace and unity.
