Physics laboratory
Our physics laboratory is a spacious and well-equipped facility designed to support hands-on learning in various areas of physics, including optics, mechanics, electronics, electricity, and electromagnetism.
Equipment and Instruments:
The laboratory is equipped with modern and advanced instruments including Traveling Microscope ,PN Junction Diode, Sonometer, Meter Bridge , Optical Instruments ,Simple pendulum, Helical spring, Spectrometer etc.
These facilities enable students of std 11th and 12th to conduct experiments and investigations in a safe and supportive environment, fostering a deeper understanding of physical concepts and principles.
Chemistry laboratory
Conducting a chemistry practical in the laboratory requires systematic approach to ensure accuracy and safety. Before starting, students are instructed to wear lab coat to protect themselves from potential hazards. Then students are instructed to carefully read experiment’s procedure and then then teacher explains the experiment to avoid mistakes. Necessary chemicals and apparatus, such as beakers, test tubes, and measuring cylinders, are collected before beginning the experiment. Accurate measurements of chemicals are taken using appropriate equipment like pipettes and balances.
The experiment is then performed step by step as per the given instructions while carefully observing any changes, such as color shifts, gas release, or precipitate formation. These observations are recorded systematically in a lab notebook. After completing the experiment, waste chemicals are disposed of properly following safety guidelines to prevent environmental harm. All used glassware and equipment are cleaned and returned to their designated places. Finally, a detailed lab report is prepared, summarizing the procedure, observations, results, and conclusions. This structured approach ensures a safe and successful chemistry practical.
Biology Laboratory
Our school’s biology laboratory is a well-equipped space designed to foster scientific curiosity and enhance practical learning. The lab is furnished with advanced microscopes, prepared slides, models, charts, and various specimens to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of biological concepts.
The laboratory offers students the opportunity to conduct experiments related to cell structure, plant and animal physiology and genetics. Each practical session is guided by experienced teachers who ensure students follow proper procedures and safety protocols. Emphasis is placed on accurate observation, recording data, and drawing conclusions, which nurtures analytical thinking and research skills.
In addition to routine curriculum-based experiments, our biology lab also supports students in conducting innovative projects and participating in science exhibitions.
